Pooja Misrra may only be 20 years old but is already the face that launched many an ad campaign, including Vimal Saris, Royal Challenge and Videocon. But what you may recognise her most for, is hosting in Mumbai's Videocon Music Bingo. She recently took over from Simone Singh, and has done 155 episodes of this popular music show. As a college student, she was enrolled in Shiamak Daver's dance classes and he suggested that this 5 ft. 8.5 inch student should try her hand at modelling and he even helped her get a portfolio shot. And that was the start of her career in the world of glamour.
And this face of the future says that music is one thing she cannot do without and even carries her own tapes to her shoots. "I have a broad taste in music and even like folk songs. But I guess R&B is my favourite. I find listening to music helps you unwind," says she. But music is not her only love. "Ofcourse being a girl, I also think men are a very important part of life" she jokes. And at the moment, Pooja is open to offers as there is no special man in her life.
