High-flying PM rocks Fashion freaks and entertainment eccentrics
No sir. We aren’t referring to the good old doctor at 7, Race Course Road, who’s charting the future of the country. It’s the delectable Ms. Pooja Misrra (we thought you’d notice the initials) who’s the hot topic of discussion here – the little gal’s been riding high at page 3 dos and everywhere else, following her rocking success in the world of fashion and entertainment. What makes the new star on the horizon sizzle? Well for starters, Ms. Misrra has done things the other way round. While most fashion queen bees and boll wood's finest make a mark in the country before painting the rest of the world red, Pooja’s taken on both frontiers simultaneously. So while she mesmerized crowds in Dubai and other parts of the planet with ramp walks and VJ ventures, hers is also the face that launched a thousand ships so to speak back on the home turf. Didn’t you recognize her with her hot lips in the ad film of digen verma for frooti, the porceline complexion of the lissome moisturizer ad or for that matter the lovely long legs that graced many billboards all over town for the sansui ad campaign Not just that, the gal’s was on a high literally, when she did a live show several thousand feet above terra firma, aboard a Malaysian Airlines flying machine. Move over Ash and Sush – Pooja’s made it to the 1st Toronto Fashion Week, and is the only desi to have achieved the honor. But she ain’t a fashion and entertainment bimbette, dears.
Did you know that Ms. Misrra was voted the best sports gal in middle school and won the trophy for the best intermediate all rounder swimming champ and has studied with nisaba Godrej and Avantika Kilachand, (darling daughter of Shobhaa De)
at Cathedral and John Canon School and has also done her junior schooling from the Kingswood Junior in Manchester , UK ?
With a profile like that plus the excellent vital stats, great looks and attitude, you really don’t have to scratch your head in wonder when you find out that she’s a hot favourite with some of the gods of glamour –SATYA PAUL , VASILIO COSTESTOS [GREECE] that’s ofcourse besides featuring on the cover of LA MODE INTERNATIONAL this month.
And now bollywood beckons, with Poonam "Shotgun" Sinha’s latest "Mera Dil Leke Dekho", where the wonder gal displays her flair for comedy. She does an item number which truley is so very different from the yawn! Run of the mill raunchy and stale ones which are being churned out by the dozen now a days . The little gal has also cut out an album called "Bandya" (whatever that means in tapori lingo) and has our aam junta screaming just that on the top of their lungs each time she steps out on the road.
