PUNE had never seen anything like this before. The Times Food Guide, Pune, 2007, brought out by the Times Group Books in association with Blenders Pride, was formally launched at the Hotel Taj Blue Diamond. And, what an evening it turned out to be! Along with the launch, the night also saw 20 worthy winners receive the highly prestigious Times Food Awards and Times Nightlife Awards. In a night dressed in red and black, the winners walked down the red carpet to collect the awards from distinguished personalities. Each of them was smiling away, and it isn't difficult to understand why. After all, they had won the Oscars for food, making the moment a really special one. As for the guest list, well, the event had everyone one could have expected to see. And, more.......... We caught VJ Pooja Missra enjoying herself. "I'm having a great time tonight. The ambience is fantastic."
